Pay It Forward - Training & Research Foundation
Pay It Forward - Random Acts of Kindness
Pay it forward is an expression for describing the beneficiary of a good deed repaying it to others instead of to the original benefactor. The concept is old, but the phrase may have been coined by Lily Hardy Hammond in her 1916 book In the Garden of Delight.
Winter of 2014, Investor’s Advantage gave $50.00 gift cards to random clients to pay it forward in their communities to those who were in need. Here is one of those touching stories that they would like to share with you. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as they enjoyed being a part of these random acts of kindness.
Name of Client: Training & Research Foundation - Head Start Organization
Client was able to help: The Flores Family
A little extra help was needed because: Training and Research Foundation Head Start organization serves low-income preschool children and their families by providing comprehensive child development and school readiness services including education, health, nutrition, family engagement and mental health. The Flores family was experiencing financial hardship and the family was unable to purchase groceries for the week. Training and Research’s $50.00 pay it forward gift card gave them the groceries that they needed. For more information about this dedicated and committed organization please visit www.trfhs.org
Please see the attached letter from Training & Research as well as the kind and beautiful thank you note from Estela Flores.
